Hailey Bieber's Skin Crisis Amid Justin Bieber's Financial Struggles

Hailey Bieber Opens Up About Stress and Health Struggles
Hailey Bieber is being open about how stress is impacting her body, and it’s happening during a time when life isn’t exactly calm. The 28-year-old model, beauty entrepreneur, and new mother has been candid on Instagram about her latest health issue, which involves a severe flare-up of perioral dermatitis, triggered by stress, travel, hormonal changes, and more.
Behind this skincare update lies a larger story involving the support of her husband, Justin Bieber, who is currently dealing with significant financial challenges following his split from longtime manager Scooter Braun.
Stress, Skin, and Social Media Confessions
In a series of raw Instagram Stories shared on Thursday, Hailey posted a makeup-free selfie that zoomed in on the red, irritated skin around her mouth and chin. “Perioral dermatitis flare,” she captioned the photo. “Always flares up when I’m traveling a lot, sleep deprived, hormones, the wrong SPF, new products, stress.”
In a follow-up slide, she shared her minimalist skincare routine for flare-ups, which includes water, prescription azelaic acid, hypochlorous acid, Clindamycin, and her Rhode "Glazing Milk," the cult-favorite product from her viral beauty brand.
The $1 Billion Sale and the Billion-Dollar Rumors
Speaking of her viral brand, Hailey's health update comes just weeks after her headline-making $1 billion deal to sell Rhode to e.l.f. Cosmetics. That sale sparked a lot of online buzz, and so did rumors that her fortune would be used to help Justin financially.
According to TMZ, Justin's financial feud with Scooter Braun, tied to unpaid commissions and a $26 million debt to Braun's company HYBE, was on pause until the Rhode money hit the bank. Hailey's team quickly denied these claims.
“The historic sale of Rhode is a huge accomplishment for Hailey and is completely separate from her husband and his business affairs,” her representative told DailyMail.com.
Justin’s New Album
While Hailey dealt with skin flare-ups and business-related noise, Justin Bieber was making headlines of his own. He released “Swag,” his seventh studio album and the first since parting ways with Scooter Braun, the manager who helped launch his career but became the center of a messy financial and personal fallout.
Sources say “Swag” is Bieber’s most personal album yet, with Hailey supporting him creatively every step of the way. “Everyone knows Justin as a star and a performer. They now get to know the artist that Hailey has known all these years,” a source told People.
With Braun reportedly owed over $30 million in back commissions and a settled financial agreement in place, Justin has emerged from the conflict with new creative freedom, and Hailey is by his side. She’s even responded to online trolls and praised his latest music while subtly taking shots at Scooter.
When Justin canceled his Justice Tour in 2022, Braun’s HYBE helped cover a $26 million debt from AEG. According to TMZ, Justin initially agreed to repay it over 10 years, but payments reportedly stopped after the first installment.
While critics speculated that the Rhode deal was Justin’s financial lifeline, Hailey has made it clear that her billion-dollar empire is hers alone.
